FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Q

Is my submission really anonymous?

A

Yes. No personal information is required — no name, no email address. We do not store IP addresses. Our code is publicly available on GitHub, where anyone can verify that no IP-logging code exists.

Q

Can I submit without any documentation?

A

Yes. Reports based purely on memory are welcome. If you have supporting documents (job postings, contracts, pay slips, etc.), your REFSY score will be higher.

Q

Can I delete my submission?

A

Yes. Please contact us at offermirror@proton.me. Provide your report ID and we will process the deletion after verification.

Q

Could I be sued by the company?

A

Since we store no information about submitters, the likelihood of being identified is extremely low. Additionally, factual records based on your own direct experience are generally well-protected under law. If you are concerned, you can also submit without including the company name.

Q

What is a REFSY token?

A

It's a token of gratitude for your submission — not compensation, but a symbol that makes your courageous act visible. See the REFSY page for more details.

Q

Can I submit experiences from years ago?

A

Yes. Past experiences are equally valuable records. The submission form includes a field for when the experience occurred — please fill it in to the best of your recollection.

Q

Do I have to include the company name?

A

No. The company name is optional. A report detailing the discrepancy and its potential legal implications is still highly valuable without it.
